Seafood Processor Trainings

A set of training courses will be offered to seafood processors on May 28-31. The courses are sponsored by the LSU AgCenter and will be held in 212 Efferson Hall on LSU campus in Baton Rouge.

The first course is Sanitation Control Procedures (SCP) on May 28, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Registration for the course is $95 and is due by May 20. The second course is Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points (HACCP) on May 29-31. Registration is $195 and also is due by May 20.

Registration costs include textbooks, certificates of completion (issued by the Association of Food and Drug Officials) and refreshments.

Efferson Hall is at the edge of the LSU campus. It is located at the corner of Highland Road and Parker Avenue. Parking is available in lots adjacent to the building. There is no cost for parking and there is no need to request a parking permit.
