As a 
                    follow-up to the Aug. 30 Louisiana Fishing Community Rebuilding 
                    Coalition (LFCRC) meeting held at the Louisiana Department 
                    of Wildlife and Fisheries, the department has invited people 
                    with fishing interests to meet in September to further discuss 
                    recovery activities to be funded by the 2006 Federal Emergency 
                    Supplemental Act. 
                  The fishing 
                    community sectors are scheduled to meet as follows:

 1 - 4 p.m.
- Tuesday 
                      Sept. 19
 Oysters
 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Wednesday 
                      Sept. 20
 Commercial 
                      Crab
 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
-  Thursday 
                      Sept. 21
 Recreational Fishing
 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Friday 
                      Sept. 22
 Commercial Finfish
 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
All groups 
                    will meet in the Louisiana Room at LDWF Headquarters at 2000 
                    Quail Drive in Baton Rouge.
                   Louisiana 
                    is slated to receive approximately $53 million in federal 
                    fisheries disaster assistance funding, which is earmarked 
                    by congress for oyster and shrimp ground rehabilitation and 
                    debris removal and cooperative research to monitor fishery 
                    recovery.
